Idea of how it will look like.

The Estima will be used on a road trip shortly it arrives to Canada. When I was looking into the trunk of the Estima, I noticed it was small space.

I then started to think about the roof storage. I didn’t know what the options are for the Estima, so I started to look and I didn’t see many with OEM roof racks (like my 2014 Sienna has).
I then started to think about a roof rack system either from Terzo, Inno or Thule (which were the brands I saw on Yahoo Auctions). I started to search for each and I just started to deep dive into Inno. I knew I had to get an attachment that was meant for the Estima of my year. What I didn’t know was the other stuff that had to be specific.

I have never dealt with these before and I know that my VanKulture brothers are always putting roof storages on their vans. For me, it is always the functionality.
I went with the system that I could find. I was able to find the mounts for the Estima:
- K720 – The hook/base system
- Insut – the mounts that hold the bars
- INB127BK – square bars for the Insut. The 127 is the length in cm.

While I have been scouring for a good roof box, I settled on one that was within driving range from Suenaga-san. It is an Inno BRU 45. I couldn’t find any info, but I did look at the instructions and it read “Roof Box 55”.

The mounting for the BRU looks about right.

Since this is a full Inno system, I am hoping it will all work out. It’s hard to find information on a lot of older stuff and compatibility. But everything says this should all work.
The final question is, Can I have this installed on the Estima for RORO.
Here is the update!!!
For that final question I posted about RORO. I was told that when vehicles are shipped, they are by absolute h/w/l. Having the roof box will increase the height. So it can be installed.
As for the roof box, Suenaga-san picked it up.
