Now that the Estima has arrived and will probably be picked up next week, here is what I want to do.
Some work has been done to the Estima.
- Front and Rear brakes and rotors.
- Calipers are also refreshed ( I think the front?)
- Radiator, upper/lower hoses, thermostat and water pump replaced.
- A/C bump replaced with new refrigerant
- Spark plugs changed
- New Alternator
- Timing belt and gears changed out.
- New A/C and alternator belts.
After that, I have to wait until the other parts come in. I don’t think I will be in Canada anytime soon, maybe during the holidays if work is slow and we have a budget for it.
Parts that will come in:
- Front lip (but need to modify to fit this bumper
- Hood cowl spoiler
- Fabulous side skirts and door panels (I want to see how they look on the van)
- Headlight eyelids
- 3rd brake light LED (I need to check if it already has an aftermarket 3rd brake light)
- Garax crystal clear rear bumper lights (I might have these painted transparent red)
- Install the Levoc Shifter cover and Clest shift boot
- Set the VIP door tables
- Set the foot rests
- Set up the drop down monitor (some where down the line get the dash and dvd player for a nice set up)
- Change all the interior light bulbs to LED and put on the Garax cyrstal lens
- Install indiglo gauges
- Install dust box
- Work on the custom LED tail lights (some LED bulbs need to be changed out)
- Install rear C pillar bar
I also have the roof box that I need to clean up and install.
Other miniscule things, change all the light bulbs and make sure everything works.
While I’m sure I will find more stuff to add to it by then, what I want to do with it right away after it gets out of customs and inspection is to do some general maintenance.
Engine oil, transmission and brake fluid changed out.
I also want to get it fully detailed. Get the van cleaned out, washed, waxed and have some undercoat applied to the undercarrige (it is Canada and they use salt on the roads at times).
