It is 2025 and the current president decided to go into a tariff war with our allies. SMH. Not only that, with the mass changes in ecomony… it’s not that great of an outcast.
Then this piece of news drops….

Well, now there was more of an emphasis on getting the Estima done.
I had tasked Hiruma and Suenaga-san with a list and I didn’t think it was going to get done because of their work schedules and the short time frame.
It takes 8 weeks for shipping to Vancouver BC. I have plans for a vacation to Vancouver BC in June. That means the van needs to leave Japan in April.
I didn’t think it would get done… until…

One of the tires were flat, but I wanted to upgrade anyway, so Suenaga-san got me some new wheels with tires and a good battery!

Now as she sits!

Okay. It’s June 2025 and I have been waiting for updates on the van.
There was issues between Suenaga-san and Midori. Then when the van was dropped off, Midori said that one of the NEW hoses was leaking. I offered to pay if they change it (which they didn’t), but I guess it’s fixed after a hose clamp was tightened.
Then nothing but waiting for an update on shipping. I finally get a text that the van is leaving Japan June 30th. I guess the West Coast ports were backed up?
Now just waiting for the parts.
